From an early age, and the moment she discovered the pencil, Maryam Shams felt like she had in her hands a magic tool that became her best friend throughout her childhood.

After graduating from high school, she was admitted to the Graphic and Decorative Arts School in Tehran. The teaching of this school not satisfying her, she took the entrance examination to the University of Fine Arts in Tehran, which she passed with flying colors. A year later, she desire to learn was such that she decided to live her dream and go to Paris.
