 In my work, color takes on importance, because it is what unfolds, unfurls on the canvas, submerges it and sometimes floods it, rich and fluid at the same time. The color is in places, applied with the help of a brush, and, in others, liquid and projected onto the surface. This work requires several layers of superimposed glazes. I use natural pigments worked and prepared by me as I go. The pigments cause a "tactile" feeling of the material, essential to painting. I choose my colors instinctively.
